Anyone playing CCGs? I never went super crazy on them but they are pretty fun.
I have Magic of course and a really complete collection of Mythos (I am a cthulhu addict). Then I have Dune, 40K, Gundam Wing, Yugi Oh and some other small and largely unappreciated games.

Re: CCGs
Mon, March 22, 2004 - 9:48 PMMy faves, aside from INWO, are Arcadia, which plays a lot like a CCG version of Talisman, and 40K. I don't really do much of the collectible thing. If I like a game a lot, I just eventually go out and buy a few packs, and then play with them and put them away. I sold all my magic cards a long time ago, since i worried when I played with them. Although I went in on a cas of Tempest, and spent 2 weeks playing a "sealed deck" tourney at home with my friends when those were new. We chipped in together, and then only played and traded with those, and then had a winner take all fiesta at the end of the two weeks. That was cool. -

Re: CCGs
Mon, December 13, 2004 - 11:18 PMI play the Battletech CCG and an old out of print game called Galactic Empires. GE is probably the most complex CCG ever printed. It's kind of like playing Stellar Conquest with cards.
